And here you probably PAID into some fund to have that pension. I just don't get why it works that way.
Them capitalists sure have some strange ideas.
the capitalists also take away pensions that workers paid into, or not contribute themselves when they promised they would ;)

so whats your experience?

when i look at the stuff you guys post on here youre not even honest with yourselves.
It’s funny how you can so quickly condemn a person for “not doing enough” without even knowing what they do for others. You would have probably told Mother Teresa or Gandhi that they didn’t do enough.

Where were you when we were in boiling heat or subzero cold? When we were dealing with angry customers or jackass managers? When we were so heavy we worked into exhaustion? Falling on ice, dodging lightning? Year after year. Your writing means very little to the people who actually get up every day and do the work necessary to keep the world running. As a matter of fact if we did everything your way you still wouldn't be happy because you'll never be happy. Want to talk unions? Fine. Want to turn the world upside down testing your theories? Forget it it, not interested. If anything Trump has proven when you get government out of the way things move in the right direction for most. Wanting to control everything with government regulation has been proven misguided. And unfortunately it looks like our younger adults are going to have to learn that the hard way because they're moving in a socialist direction, not caring how that's turned out for other nations because they arrogantly believe they can get it right. Glad I won't be around to see it.

i work too. but maybe less than 40 hours....thank god/ ive worked -20C and 35C+ wearing a fire proof suit.

ive also done political work and sacrifice.

you guys always make stuff up or pretend you dont understand to delegitimize what i advocate for and criticize against. what i advocate for isnt that different from what we already have, but it would qualify as a revolution. alot of it is not theoretical.

You’ve criticized many on here for not doing enough, while admitting that you haven’t voted in awhile. You think wearing a T-shirt and donating a few hundred dollars to a cause is doing something grand.

its almost $10,000 now. and this is either being lower middle class or poor while doing so. $5000 was matched, so im very happy with that.

ironically my parents may possibly out donate me by the time i get to their age simply bc of govt tax incentives and property market luck.

i voted 2x locally, but not federally. more to being politically involved than just voting. i think being vegetarian is a big part too.

a majority of americans do nothing, and dont vote.
