What right do you feel you have to request that your employer terminate two workers?
Shouldn't have anything to do with OT.
its a joke and i wont do OT either way. but these failed religious coworkers deserve to be fired for not following hte golden rule. other ppl do their work.

there should be an OT strike until they fire or make one of the other supervisors apologize. he micro manages and half the guys dont like him because hes obviously not that smart, and then we just work slower.

Ricky, if you were following the golden rule, (Do unto others as you would have done unto you), you wouldn't be trying to get people fired.

That would mean that you want other people to get you fired.

capitalism tells us we will be happy only if we consume.

true strength is when you have an internal self generated happiness and cant be affected by anything, and still pursuing justice. i hear stuff about positivity all the time, but i think the thing most people miss out with that is justice. its possible to be controlled by happiness by lowering our standards which alot of people do, like brave new world.

in a sense you make something out of nothing.

exactly but if theres not enough work then whatever work we have should be evenly distributed

Do you get paid by the hour?

I work with fks who don’t fill the trucks up with gas at the end of the night.

I have to remind them, ‘you know you get paid by the hour, right?’...

RickyBobby, there’s dignity in doing a job well.

yea i do get paid by the hour.

sometimes theres too much work to finish, in that case you just pace yourself

but when theres not enough work, you want to finish it fast so you can read a book or go on your phone. they just hired a militant union guy, when he done probation hes gonna start complaining. alot of us are complacent and let the capitalists turn things to :censored2:s.

Guy, my identity has only a passing glance to my job.

I go to work, then I go home.

There’s no part of my job where I’m trying to screw my employer.

It actually takes more work to not work than it does to just work.

Glad you get paid by the hour, I guess.

yea it must have been vanextan who was talking about being a man and working hard.

they should incentivize us more. and promote the golden rule. if theres work everyone should a part.

i keep trying to take out dune at the library, but the :censored2: capitalists arent paying enough taxes. i took out catcher and the rye and returned it after 180 pages because it was annoying. now i took out grapes of wrath.

also at my job guys will damage company equipment on purpose. they will also use machines to waste time, so the company will get rid of the machine and were back to manual labour which is less efficient.

Guy, your incentive is your paycheck.

Go to a used book store and buy a copy of Dune for $2.

Copies of Dune are everywhere.

one thing thats really inefficient about capitalism and markets is people lying when they sell cars because then every buyer has to spend money on a mechanic to inspect and carfax.

how much pollution is there when people move by public transit, and how much pollution is there when one person drives his 4 or 8 seater car? which one is more efficient and cost effective? are we making automakers rich by using stuff we dont need?

why do they charges fees for public transit when they dont charge fees for parks quite often? why cant public transit be cooler looking and more comfy and more service.

by buddy who moved to san fran says the public transit doesnt compare down there to the stuff where i live. and where i live its mediocre at best.
