I never pictured you as a minister and was disappointed to hear thatI picture him as a peg legged pirate with the parrot on his shoulder doing all the talking
bizarreI never pictured you as a minister and was disappointed to hear that
Clinton was center-left and co-opted a lot of Republican policies in order to get reelected.clinton was a right winger and pushed the republicans even further right
clinton sold out the workers. this gave us trump.
Anyone can set up a stock account and purchase stock. They can only buy stock if they have money which the capitalists didnt take all for themselves
some would argue that the newt gingrich led congress shut clinton down until he made that move to the center.Clinton was center-left and co-opted a lot of Republican policies in order to get reelected.
you call deregulating the media,Clinton was center-left and co-opted a lot of Republican policies in order to get reelected.
i have a feeling that wasnt wat reagan was referring to.Anyone can set up a stock account and purchase stock.
He tried to implement his own version of Obamacare. That cost him Congress in the midterms of his first term. The country had made a shift to the right and in order to get reelected he had to also. Again you're reading about it but many of us lived through it. Clinton was a lot.of things but he wasn't a right winger. But he was the last Democratic president who was pragmatic. Willing to cross the aisle to save his presidency.you call deregulating the media,
expanding prison population massively,
destroying welfare
deregulating wall street
and passing nafta
as centre left???
You keep avoiding addressing what I gave you an answer to. You rail against the lack of stock ownership among the general population but they have access to purchase stock but it's not a priority for many people.i have a feeling that wasnt wat reagan was referring to.
half of the country doesnt get paid enough to purchase stock. You keep avoiding addressing what I gave you an answer to. You rail against the lack of stock ownership among the general population but they have access to purchase stock but it's not a priority for many people.
he raised bribes on par with the republican. He tried to implement his own version of Obamacare. That cost him Congress in the midterms of his first term. The country had made a shift to the right and in order to get reelected he had to also. Again you're reading about it but many of us lived through it. Reagan didnt speak to setting up stock accounts he did speak to individual initiative and investmenti have a feeling that wasnt wat reagan was referring to.
Recent data indicates that approximately 54% to 61% of U.S. adults participate in the stock market through retirement accounts like 401(k)s or IRAs. Specifically:half of the country doesnt get paid enough to purchase stock.
perhaps you were thinking of canada when you spoke?half of the country doesnt get paid enough to purchase stock.
I have a feeling you don’t know what you’re talking about. As usual.i have a feeling that wasnt wat reagan was referring to.
i shouldve said close to 50% is too poor which goes with what you posted and i agree btw.Recent data indicates that approximately 54% to 61% of U.S. adults participate in the stock market through retirement accounts like 401(k)s or IRAs. Specifically:
- A 2022 Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances found that 54% of American families had a retirement account, such as a 401(k) or IRA, which often include stock market investments.

- Gallup's 2023 estimate reported 61% of U.S. adults own stock, with most of this ownership occurring through retirement accounts like 401(k)s or IRAs.

- A 2023 study by the Pension Rights Center, using Bureau of Labor Statistics data, noted that 56% of all workers (including private sector and government workers) participate in a workplace retirement plan, many of which are tied to the stock market.
Again you demonstrate a lack of knowledge. NAFTA was signed in1992 under George H.W. Bush. It went into effect on Jan.1, 1994. Clinton wouldn't lose Congress because of Republican sponsored NAFTA. He lost because he tried to enact a bunch of far Left ideas in 1993-1994 that would've increased taxes. Led to the '94 midterm being called "the year of the angry white male." You just said he probably lost Congress because of the far right things he did. Why would Republicans be angry at him doing far right things? No, after he got thumped in the '94 midterm, that made Congress completely Republican for the first time in 40 years, he hired a Republican campaign consultant named Dick Morris who told him he had to advocate a number of Republican policies to have any chance of being reelected. Which is exactly what he did. But he was a centrist, not a right winger.he raised bribes on par with the republican.
guy was definitely right wing. i just listed off a bunch of stuff he did that was right wing.
the thing that cost him congress was probably all the things i mentioned. he signed nafta in 1993. that should be enough right there.
If they can buy beer and cigarettes and dope then they have enough money to buy stock.i shouldve said close to 50% is too poor which goes with what you posted and i agree btw.
they cant.If they can buy beer and cigarettes and dope then they have enough money to buy stock.
