I guess I hate dogs

When I started delivering on my first trip there was a section of town that was called Dog Hill.

The sup that trained me was even kind enough to point out the homemade sign in the first block.

I was only bit once and it was by a St. Bernard. Many dogs tried but none were successful.

3 or 4 dogs tried to attack my package car and lost. One time I had a sup on car when the dog ran under a rear tire, the dog was still alive but barely. He told me to back up and finish it off. I did the deed as instructed. No collar, no license or tag, we finally found someone who told us who it belonged to and they said thank you.

I know you could not do that today.

Your fourth paragraph is one of the most interesting and funny things that I've read on here in some time.

"He told me to back up and finish it off." Never has an on-road given more better and precise instructions as this sup.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
@oldngray, am I right? My mother in law would act like a shark was attacking her every time my harmless Boston terrier brushed her leg. Couldn’t stand that woman, god forgive me.

I had enough of dogs in my 30 years at UPS. (3 times to the doc for dog bites). I don't hate them but prefer to live my life without the hassle. I have a neighbor who has a black lab that comes down and we play fetch for awhile--then he goes home and she feeds him and takes care of the vet bills---perfect. My wife wants nothing to do with animals. She grew up on a farm and believes that animals are for eating. :-)

So do the Haitians.
