ive been there . no one is climbing over that wall. put some sound detection in for the tunnels and it will definitely do the job. if however you have a partial wall then illegals will simply go around it.
There is this little thing called the ocean. You should look into it then reevaluate your position on a wall.
The flow of drugs into the US and the flow of $/guns into Mexico has not been slowed. The supply and demand of drugs is interconnected with the flow of undocumented. A wall will not stop the demand. They will just go over it, ...
And regardless, the Mexican cartel will continue to get the same flow of drugs via radio-controlled ultralights.
They drop 100 pound bundles at a specified GPS coordinate and someone is waiting to pickup at the GPS spot.
These ultralights sell for about $3000 USD and are becoming more and more prevalent.

Man charged with marrying 6 women to evade immigration laws
WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts man has been charged with accepting money to marry six women to help them evade immigration laws.

Federal prosecutors allege 57-year-old Peter Hicks, of Worcester, married the women from sub-Saharan African nations who between 2003 and 2013 and filed for immigration benefits for four of them. Some of the women were in the U.S. illegally.

Authorities also allege that on at least one occasion, he was still married to one woman at the time of his marriage to another.

He is also alleged to have recruited others to enter into fraudulent marriages.

Hicks was released following an initial appearance in federal court in Worcester on Tuesday. He faces a maximum of five years in prison if convicted.

And the link I posted states the flow of American $ and guns into Mexico, often by American citizens, will keep the flow of drugs into the US. The US government needs to focus on the problem as a whole, both supply and DEMAND. No wall is going to solve the problem. Won't even make a dent.

For drugs, I agree.
For illegal immigration, the wall will have a considerable effect.

77 illegal immigrants crammed into a sweaty UPS truck | Daily Mail Online

  • A total of 77 illegal immigrants were found packed inside the cargo area of what appeared to be a UPS truck in California on Monday
  • Authorities noticed 'strong body odor' coming from inside the sweltering truck
  • The driver was arrested after admitting to being paid to transport the people

The cargo area was packed with people shoulder to shoulder according to the San Diego Union Tribune.

The driver, US citizen Shawn Lee Seiler, allowed the agent to search the vehicle, and after the authorities made the discovery, the driver admitted to taking payment for transporting the people inside.

The driver told authorities he was to be paid $100 for each unauthorized immigrant to be transported.

He also said he thought he only had 50 people in the truck, and was surprised to learn there were 77 people crammed inside.

heres my DHS Traveler redress inquiry.

enjoy!:

-they think i am a drug dealer. i am not
-my brother is the criminal. not me.
-i have never destroyed property at a protest.
-i am not affiliated with black bloc protestors or anonymous. i have never travelled to US to protest.
-i was at secondary inspection for over 2 hours. it shouldnt take this long to figure out i am not a criminal. they did not print off a copy of "intentions and ties" which CBP should have done. i got rejected 2x even though i gave 6 months bank info.

It will be fine

Just give me the 6 months of bank info, I'll clear it up.
