Because it would cause an undercount of immigrant populations. The purpose of the census is to obtain an accurate count of people that live here. Intentionally obtaining an inaccurate count would be contrary to the founder’s intent.

It doesn’t matter if they are here legally or not. Read the freaking constitution, the census is to count all people that live here. If your going to pretend to be a conservative that wants to follow the framers intent then you should want an accurate census.

again you dont get it , before they could wait here for their asylum claim, mexico took part of thst responibilty, now with gutamela they wont be able to even clsim it no more. So yes they can still sneak in but when they get caught they wont be able to claim asylum, nor will they be released in the u.s to wait for a court hearing.
