americans get assaulted by police sometimes when they protest, shot at maybe not killed probably sometimes. police play dirty in case you didnt notice.
Hey doofus during the 2020 riots police endured having bricks, chains, and frozen water bottles thrown at them with well over a thousand injured and some killed. Meanwhile most protesters arrested were released with no charges. Where were all the protesters being abused by cops?

ive protested with people who likely have jobs. i protested next to former class mates who went to law school.

can you imagine you believe what you so as to make you not protest and simply turn you into a passive consumer of information?
Canada is pretty close to a socialist state now. What are you protesting for, more freebies?

tuition will cost me 20,000 to 30,000.

ive never gotten 5 or 6 weeks vacation as a worker.

we dont have very good public transit system.

3/4 of all workers are not unionized.

so maybe less freebies for big oil and more basic stuff for people.

i see it quite often. and yes youre right too. but sometimes the cops start the violence..

for example ralph nader did an interview with the chief of police for seattle during the WTO protests. you should check it out. the guy wrote a book too.

Seriously, this is what you're protesting? Do you not realize Canada's oil sector is already bankrolling much of Canadian prosperity?

thats what i thought

u fall for capitalist lies and are completely demobilized even though you think youre doing something.

Capitalism is the reason I’m typing to you right now. It’s probably your reason too.

You’re only here railing against capitalism to pat yourself on the back for what you say and feel as you rail against it, mister do-nothing anarcho-communist social justice warrior.

You’re welcome back on planet Earth any time.

Who invented computers and the internet doesn’t even have anything to do with my point, comrade.

I’m talking about capitalism right now, in 2021 being the reason we’re typing to each other, comrade.

no idea what ur talking about. who knows how much less tech there would be without govt research and development.

and in the future well be lucky if we can do anything let alone type because of capitalisms trajectory which is that of a sinking ship

Capitalism is the reason the technology the government contributed to is in the hands of private citizens. And it’s the reason the government could afford to contribute to it in the first place. It’s why I’m on an iPhone right now.

It’s strange that you believe the government has everything to do with anything good in our societies.

Capitalism isn’t perfect. But if it is a sinking ship, your preferred economic systems have long since been underwater.
