My brother, who is very liberal, worked on an archeological dig.in Israel in the ''80's. Because he saw no war while he was there he declared what we're being told on tv wasn't true. Fact is Israel has to deal with many thousands of rocket attacks and before they built their wall around the country had to deal with constant bombings and knife attacks. Someone dropped the ball on October 7th, 2023, but it seems you're suggesting that Israel let the Palestinians go crazy just so they could attack Gaza and get at that oil. Shades of 9/11 where claims were made we went to Iraq just to take.their oil.

They have claim to oil everyone knows. It’s so much it could rebuild and sell on the market. But..

Except they aren't interested in anything but using the money to buy weapons and fight Israel. Hamas isn't some poor, misunderstood group. They're ruthless killers. There's no way Israel will allow Gaza to be rebuilt without insuring Hamas won't be the governing body there. And since most Gazans support Hamas it's likely the only practical solution is to move everyone out of Gaza and away from Israel.
