African contribution ranges from 2.8% in Sonora to 11.13% in Veracruz. 80% of the Mexican population was classed as mestizo (meaning being racially mixed in some degree).

again, mis understanding the BUSH law allowing the children to be here in the first place. It isnt a matter of a porous border, but more about a bad law with ugly consequences.

Where to begin? 1787 congress establishes rules for naturalization, 1790 first immigration law passed, 1795 update to 1790 law,1868 14th amendment passed, 1870 African Americans naturalized, 1870 Chinese exclusion act passed, 1882 congress bans people because of poor health and infectious diseases, literacy requirements added, 1921 emergency quota act, 1920 ceiling set at 154,227 for immigrates from eastern hemisphere , immigration radically reduced during Great Depression.
Average number of persons allowed through Ellis island was about 150,000 per year. We are not a country of illegal immigrates.
