a couple of republicans signing a generic letter against corruption will not blur the facts

February 2014 - Joe Biden appointed by Obama to head Ukraine crisis team .

April 13, 2014:Devon Archer, the business partner of Hunter Biden, son of the VP, and Christopher Heinz, stepson of Secretary of State John Kerry, is named an independent director of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings.

April 15, 2014:Burisma Holdings makes two payments to the Morgan Stanley account of Devon Archer’s and Hunter Biden’s firm Rosemont Seneca Bohai in the amounts of $83,333.33 and $29,424.82, according to financial records obtained by Ukrainian authorities and the FBI.

April 15, 2014:Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s partner in Rosemont Seneca Bohai and Burisma Holdings, checks into White House for meeting with Vice President Joe Biden, according to the Secret Service’s official WAVES entry logs for the Obama White House.

April 21, 2014: Biden, then vice president, visited Ukraine’s capital, Kiev, in a show of support for the country’s government amid rising tensions with Russia.

April 22, 2014:VP Joe Biden meets with Ukraine Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and urges Ukraine to ramp up energy production to free itself from its Russian natural gas dependence. Biden boasts that “an American team is currently in the region working with Ukraine and its neighbors to increase Ukraine’s short-term energy supply.” Yatsenyuk welcomes help from American “investors” in modernizing natural gas supply lines in Ukraine.

April 28, 2014:Britain’s Serious Fraud Office freezes $23 million in assets kept in London by Burisma Holdings and its founder, Mykola Zlochevsky, on grounds it was fraudulently transferred from Ukraine. Zlochevsky and Burisma deny wrongdoing.

May 13, 2014: Burisma Group, a private company that has drilled for natural gas in Ukraine since 2002, announced that Hunter Biden would be joining its board. Around that time, Burisma’s founder, a former government official named Mykola Zlochevsky, was under investigation for alleged money laundering by Britain’s Serious Fraud Office.

May 13, 2014:Christopher Heinz, business partner to Devon Archer and Hunter Biden and stepson to John Kerry, sends email to Secretary of State’s top aides distancing himself from Archer, Biden appointments to Burisma Holdings board, according to FOIA released to Citizens United
one guy with sense,This also shows that the state department was aware of corruption concerns with Burisma:

Dec. 8, 2015:The New York Times publishes article stating Prosecutor General Shokin’s office is investigating Burisma Holdings and its founder Zlochecvsky, and that Hunter Biden’s participation on Burisma board is undercutting Joe Biden’s anticorruption message in Ukraine. VP Biden office quoted in story.

Jan. 21-24, 2016: Obama White House invites leaders of Ukraine’s general prosecutor office to Washington for a hastily arranged set of meetings to discuss anticorruption cases, including Burisma and Party of Regions case involving Paul Manafort..

Feb. 24-March 1, 2016:An American representative for Burisma Holdings, Karen Tramontano of Blue Star Strategies, seeks meeting with Undersecretary of State Catherine A. Novelli to discuss ending the corruption allegations against the Ukrainian gas firm. Hunter Biden’s name was specifically invoked by the Burisma representative as a reason the State Department should help. “Per our conversation, Karen Tramontano of Blue Star Strategies requested a meeting to discuss with U/S Novelli USG remarks alleging Burisma (Ukrainian energy company) of corruption.”

that's the point the only trump corruption is in those ads. None in real life. instead you have 4 yeas of unsubstantiated charges that have the public numbed to anymore snowflake nonsense.

I hope after trump is done beating senile joe on the debate state he gently leads him to the exit door.
Lol. No corruption. Ok.

One of the arguments from the lefts investigation of trump Ukraine has been the argument that the president can not withhold money appropriated to congress for corruption reasons yet that is exactly what Biden did with substantially more money

March 31, 2016:VP Joe Biden arrives in Ukraine and announces $1 billion in loan guarantees, ending threat to withhold aid and force Ukraine into debt default, and also delivers $239 million more in promised aid.

So the Republicans who were duped by Biden and the Obama administration into supporting a quid pro quo that benefited Hunter Biden....

are now asking the US attorney general to investigate these shady dealings....

and you somehow think this exonerates Joe Biden. SMH.

Seems to confirm that there was plenty of prima facie evidence to warrant Trump suggesting the new president look into corruption.

Is this CNN garbage all you got? You ever get tired of throwing crap at the wall?
You are very good at weaving a BS reality to live in.

you apparently didn't hear what those 17 witnesses and democratically led questioning said. one of the major arguments made was that the president could not in any way delay the funds that were earmarked.

it was their rebuttal to the republican point that Trump delayed the funds to review corruption in the Ukraine as a new administration took office.

You claimed they said he couldn't withhold funds because of corruption concerns and that that was what Biden did. Trump was doing it for his own personal political gain he couldn't give a :censored2: about corruption. Be honest with yourself at least

Yet you demwits couldn't produce a single witness to say that's all he was interested in. You want to impeach him for thought crimes.

There was evidence that warranted an investigation into the Bidens. What you think his motivation was is irrelevant.

It's never OK for the President to investigate someone. That's what the Justice department is for.

Why isn't the justice department investigating him then?

and lest I forget in adequately addressing your point of election interference

if the democratic house takes a bunch of speculation without any direct proof and turns it into an impeachment

shouldn't they be charged with election interference and abuse of power?

you impeached a president going into an election based on bogus charges shouldn't Schiff , Nadler and Pelosi now be impeached. at least for the heartache this bogus action has caused the country.

As president Trump is required by law to ascertain whether aid given will be used as intended or be squandered by corruption. Asking about corruption was Trump doing his legal duty. He may not give a you know what but he is required by law to make sure taxpayer money is used for it's intended purpose. The real tragedy is Democrats using the impeachment process to attack Trump in hopes of weakening his chances, and the Republicans, in the election. Guess who'll be claiming cover-up of crimes all the way into November? And beyond if Trump wins. Best case scenario is Republicans get back control of the House to shut down this nonsense.
