Ineligible for rehire

My daughter worked as a package handler as a seasonal worker in 2023. She absolutely loved it and worked hard. Even cleaned in her down time. They all seemed to love her and gave her hope that she could be hired full time. The job ended and she's checked the job openings daily.
This past xmas they hired her again as an seasonal employer delivering packages. She worked her ass off, even worked longer hours taking a 2nd shifts, She just applied today for an opening and was told she's ineligible for rehire!! She called me sobbing. She is so frustrated. She would make ANYBODY an excellent employee. What can she do?

She’s your daughter, so obviously your bias. but somebody didn’t like her and put her in as no rehire.
It’s always possible that’s a mistake, but the only thing she could do is try to get a hold of whoever her manager was and see if it was mistake. Been through these things and seen this more than once I doubt that it was a mistake. Don’t take it personal. UPS is not for everyone.

Have her contact her immediate manager where she worked. Ive had this happen to friend who was put on a no rehire status...he was young and dumb and got fired. He grew up and knew his mistakes. I got his status of no rehire taken off by talking to manager...best wishes for her

Yes. Always on time. Never called out.
And loved the job. Got along well with everyone. Absolutely no problems
