Our division is claiming the same thing...I believe it's actually being passed down from the regional supervisor, and not an amended contractual agreement.We are in the Central States and all the sudden they are saying the (Union ) we now have tonwork 4 days a week instead of 1 day ,and saying theur is Amendment about this topic ! I don’t know about shameful Although there are some situations where it’s inconvenient, but I think it was around 2013 When team Care took over many places. I’ve never had a problem with it and it’s the gold standard of insurance. I don’t think I’ve ever went a whole week in my career not at least having a punch. And if you’re going to be off that long, there’s other way to make sure you keep your insurance.Shameful that we have to work for something we want. I guess it could be worse. We could have to pay for all our insurance.

My UPS insurance was better than Teamcare and were one of the few locals that kept the UPS/Aetna insurance. They used that as a negotiating tool at contract time. They originally were going to raise retirees to more than $400/month but ended up at $150/month. Worse than it was but still better than most people.We were 1 of 5 Locals that had $50 a month retiree insurance....
