What has changed is the percentage of women doing stuff like this. When a society's morals break down and it becomes socially acceptable to do things like this in ever increasing numbers then we have a problem. For all of you getting your hackles up over religion let's leave the religious aspect out if it. We have a huge birthrate problem. Couples aren't getting married earlier in adulthood, if at all. Socially acceptable now to just have boyfriend/girlfriend status. Abortion is still common. Babies are expensive. Can throw in all the increases in homosexuality/transsexual numbers too for.why there aren't enough children. I never had kids either. Wanted to. But so much emphasis is put on women choosing men with high incomes these days a lot of men are on the outside looking in. Especially now that women outpace men in obtaining college degrees. Whatever the reasons we will see more breakdowns in how many things function with less and less people. Might not be too big a problem for older people but their grandchildren are going to experience a very different world. AI and robotics might be why they're scrambling so fast to replace workers. Because the workers won't be there.
