That's a low amount and won't last long at retirement, but those aren't recommended amounts per age but actually savings by age. Americans overall don't save much then are surprised when they're still working at 75.I still have to believe those are incredibly low
When parts of US population only have $500-1k in the bank. If you take months off for birth of kid or on disability for injury it adds up.I still have to believe those are incredibly low
