They are capitalists. That some Jews were Marxists in the early years of the Soviet Union has no more bearing on today's Israel than unions in the early 1900's in the U.S. were rife with Marxists.

The Palestinians are Arabs who moved into what is now present day Israel. They aren't descendants of the previous ethnic groups that occupied the region.
