You both have a valid point but this safety issue needs to be addressed.Hey I was young and dumb. I'm sure you never did anything you regretted later in life.

I mean tats have come a long way but people have to think about WHERE they are putting them. That's why I never got my old one redone. To show my kids what a tattoo looks like 35 years later.
Seems to be a lot more lax in the cities. I have a driver that lives down the road from me that has to wear pants and long sleeves all year long. You both have a valid point but this safety issue needs to be addressed.
If the makeup doesn't hold up I've seen guys use ace bandages or prewrap or bandaids. Depending on the size of the tattoos.I am sending my fiancé to get some today! Thank you for the advice. I appreciate it.
When I started working here, you rarely seen anyone with tattoos. Most of them were older military guys and nobody ever said a word about them.I mean tats have come a long way but people have to think about WHERE they are putting them.
My brothers first and only tat is about 10 inches long all down his forearm. I mean that's just stupid.
I guess there is a difference between the good cover up and the cheap stuff. That's why I mentioned Sephora. That's what the guys use here.If the makeup doesn't hold up I've seen guys use ace bandages or prewrap or bandaids. Depending on the size of the tattoos.
At least you didn't get your tongue splitI agree that it was stupid. At the time I was 17, went against my parents advice (thought I knew it all). I was a good example of a bad example. I get what you are all saying. Trust me.
Yeah tattoos are becoming a lot more common. I mean I get it they freaking art now. It's amazing what they can do.When I started working here, you rarely seen anyone with tattoos. Most of them were older military guys and nobody ever said a word about them.
Or gauges in the ears.At least you didn't get your tongue split
That was a fad for a while.
I would think that would get expensive to cover up large areas.I guess there is a difference between the good cover up and the cheap stuff. That's why I mentioned Sephora. That's what the guys use here.
You got me there.
Not as bad as you thinkI would think that would get expensive to cover up large areas.
Ya, I understand that. But he lied saying the order came from the top saying I can't wear sleeves. Now my steward tells me that the SUP was told he couldn't make me do that... And he did anyways. I'm just sick of this . He did it bc he was off at me. This guy is just trying to make my job hell.
I agree with you on that.Call up in the morning and bang out sick the next time its hot. Tell your sup. you think it's too dangerous for you to work in long sleeves.
I see some of these young kids with tattoos that cover most of their body and face. Who would hire them?I predict tattoo removal will be a huge growth industry in the near future.
File a grievance for harrassment and intimidation so that if other issue arise down the road you have documentation of these events. Having it on paper will give it weight at a panel hearing unlike just saying your sup dud this this and this months ago. Do it file I urge you
