J6 Hearing

Are you implying the Democrats were behind the January 6th attack in the Capital?
I haven't heard that one yet
No.
I'm pointing out the fact that pelosi did not want Republicans asking questions about the role her office had in refusing additional security for that day.

There was credible intelligence suggesting a threat that day. President Donald Trump authorized 20,000 national guard troops to maintain order. Democrat leadership made the decision to leave Capitol police understaffed and underarmed.

Democrats obviously do not want to take responsibility for their security failure.

Nor did they want the knowledge that they were warned before Jan 6 but did nothing to get out. That goes against their narrative of blaming Trump.

the fact both the mayor and Pelosi refused national guard help seems to indicate they wanted something to happen they could hang on trump. you realize everyone knew the rally was going to be raucous and yet no nat guard backup. no nat guard staged nearby just in case. and a J6 committee where not questions on that decision are asked.
She repeatedly used ambigous phrasing terms like "something like" to protect herself from charges of perjury later.
she was clearly coached

I don’t know. Have they said they won’t allow it? I admit I haven’t really been keeping up with this. Kinda boring. Seems only people with TDS on both sides care (although everyone probably should).
well thank god you dont suffer from TDS

Do you have proof?

Nobody has anything from the White House to the miltary for the request and nobody has anything from Pelosi shutting the request down.

She was testifying that someone else told her. She dodges perjury that way but also makes any of her testimony worthless. J6 felt a sudden need to drop another "bombshell" to try to distract people. Didn't matter how quickly it fell apart. Some media are still parroting the "explosive" testimony line and ignoring evidence to the contrary.

you're in denial. the kangaroo court had trump officials testify to the approval. General Millie has confirmed the request was approved. J6 committe has sealed that testimony to present their one sided narrative.

The president does not request national guard, he authorizes requests, and he pre authorized the troops based on intelligence. The Democrats must make the request and the Democrats rejected the idea of increasing security.

Nobody has access to her office for the investigation, that's what I just said when I educated you about why she rejected the Republican appointments to the committee.

Exactly what legislation are they trying to draft in these hearings?
As far as I'm aware these hearings are being held to shed light on the events that led up to what happened on January 6th by parties under oath.

Congress is only supposed to use hearings to inform legislation. If they use them for criminal investigation they are usurping the power of the executive, and doing it without due process limitations. If it's a matter of getting gossip on record under oath, they are usurping the power of the judicial, and doing it without due process limitations. Every branch seems to want to be a dictatorship, there ought to be a penalty for them when they step outside the bounds of their power.

Since when did the Democratic Party start running the military?

your grasping for an argument.

The president approves the use of the national guard in DC which he did.

once given the approval either the mayor or pelosi can act on that approval.
that was revealed in the secret interviews done by the J6

what the J6 does is take depositions in secret and then only put out one side in public that they feel will hurt Trump politically

You're under the impression that the national guard can decide on it's own to occupy Washington D.C.?

That's ridiculous lol.
The US Military is under the command of the president. This power is enumerated to him in the Constitution. The only power the Congress has is to declare war.
