Jim Crow: The Sequel

Bad Moon Risen'
A statement from the GA State Patrol troopers:

"Rep. Cannon went inside the stanchions and began knocking on the door. Rep. Cannon was instructed to stop knocking on the door and that Governor Kemp was having a press conference inside. Rep. Cannon continued to knock on the door and was instructed again to stop knocking on the door. She was advised that she was disturbing what was going on inside and if she did not stop, she would be placed under arrest. Rep. Cannon stepped back for a moment and then stepped back up to the door and started knocking on the door again. She was again advised if she did not stop, she would be arrested for obstruction and disturbing the press conference. Rep. Cannon refused to stop knocking on the door. Rep. Cannon was placed under arrest and escorted out of the Capitol."

Not following the instructions of the police typically leads to getting arrested. She was asked politely four times to stop. Why not simply follow instructions?

Sorry van, you are the one lying.
Another new rule that affects both in-person early voting and election day voting would prohibit anyone except poll workers from handing out water to voters in line, and outlaw passing out food and water to voters within 150 feet of the building that serves as a poll, inside a polling place or within 25 feet of any voter standing in line. Depending on the location, it is still possible for third-party groups to have food and water available — and it is possible for the lines to extend beyond 150 feet
Nope, not so.

So the black lady knocks on a door, gets hauled away in cuffs, and you blame her...but a thousand insurrectionists storm the Capitol trying to overthrow an election and they kill a cop and trash the place at the behest of Donald Trump and you think they are justified. Got it.
They didn't kill a cop and there weren't a thousand of them. Y'all keep growing the numbers. As I recall many of those who broke in are in jail now. You're the one that mentioned black lady as if that imparts to her special rights and privileges.

It seems counterintuitive and repulsive to agree with @MAKAVELI, but you got this a bit mixed up.

OK, I looked at Snopes. There's already a law in place, and this new law just reiterates it, that people aren't allowed to give food and water to those in line within a certain distance, as you pointed out. The reason is to not have campaign workers trying to influence voters. But earlier refinery was saying people weren't allowed to have food and water at all. Not so. Voters are allowed to bring their own food and water and can even have it delivered to them. Poll workers are to watch out for people trying to influence the vote by passing out food, drinks, and other gifts.

Yeah because someone receiving a bag of chips and a bottle of water while standing in line for hours is going to suddenly change their vote. You cuckservatives are :censored2:ing rediculous.

Doesn't matter, it's the law and applies to everyone, not just blacks. What y'all are extremely upset about is the requirement for real I.D.
