Just an observation

I just love how the supes think that they can pull a fast one on rank and file members and try to get away with it.
Went into work this evening and 3 hours into the shift, I ended up getting ill enough that I needed to go home. Shift supe tried to get me to stay by giving me the boo hoo story that there was no one else that could cover my job because we don't have enough workers. Then the supe tried to say if I left that it would be the same as if I called off. Ha!! Like I believe that one..NOT!! I've been with the company for a long time and it always amazes me to what depths management will stoop to try and benefit themselves and smilet on the workers.

When I worked preload I went in feeling ill and tried to toughen it out and ended up throwing up on the floor from it.
Preload supe gave me the ok to go home
Wrote me up the following morning stating he expects me to take care of myself outside of work to always show up
Pulled the grievance out and had him sign it before I even signed my name on the discipline.
