That is why I asked. Don't know if this is something new in the contract or if it has always been there.

It goes back to at least the 2002 contract in the Central. You get Art 41 Section 3 rate or the PT job rate, whichever is higher.

I was told in another forum, you cant collect Unemployment if you are offered the part time work.

You need to check with your state's unemployment office, the laws determining benefits eligibility and amount varies.
