I think I'd probably be careful to differentiate between "antics of hate" perpetrated by LGBT folks and LGBT activists.
Most LGBT folks like @Wrong probably just want to be happy and go about their daily business with no big fuss or activism.
I'd bet it's mostly LGBT activists who are not even gay that are trying to virtue signal the hardest and be huge
