The IBT,has no problem, taking dues money from a TDU local! Time for them, to earn their money!.....just saying

Fat boy and his merry band of tdu misfits bash Hall and Hoffa every chance they get. NOW THEY NEED THEM. Well this is the word I'm getting? All the IBT cares about is the 250 employees and they will do everything in their power to save them. The eboard will pay the price for their incompetence.

You have a serious issue and you don't even know. This guy is here making jokes, while me and 249 guys are fighting for our jobs back. It's people like you who make the Union weak, by using such a time for your political advantage. Do me a favor and stay far away from the "Maspeth 250".

Brown Spider, I know longer work for UPS; terminated years ago. This particular UPS/Union fight is very interesting, I can't imagine why UPS would allow everyone of the 250 drivers to return to work. This would set a major precedence, that would give the green light for work stoppages nationwide at any and all UPS buildings. If they let it fly here, there would be walkouts all over the country anytime someone is fired. I don't remember any language in the contract when I was working that allowed for a temporary work stoppage due to a disagreement over the termination of an employee. The original driver will perhaps return to his position, just can't think of a reason UPS would not make an example of at least a few people. I feel for the drivers and their families, its a tough economy out there and not a great time to be looking for a job. I do remember in my years at UPS and being a shop steward, things are never what they seem. Their local representation that organized that work stoppage should be removed from his position, if people are losing their jobs; let him be first.
They violated fired driver rights ups didn't play by the rules so local 804 walked out. They had enough of the abuse.....

Back off! these guys they need our support, not other members turning on them. right or wrong....what Is done is done......support them, not chastise them!....if we had stronger language in previous contracts. and a stronger Union leader.....this schitz, would have never happened!

All members who participated will serve 2 week suspensions and all members presently on the street also serve the remainder of a 2 week suspension and return to work. More to follow.

I am glad this got settled in a relatively positive manner for the 250 drivers.
This should be a lesson to all involved that Teamster BAs don't give orders.

Furthermore, @bleedinbrown58 will not have to sit there and watch 250 P/Ts and off the street get to go driving before her.
