What if the bad people who have money are the ones who end up making the donations?
thats a good point

i noticed by donation is the best model followed by enemy state media.

there should be other regulations too like equal time for political candidates.

Nope. Pure Democracy is nothing more than communism. You just transfer the power to the larger group call the mob. The many control the few.
I wouldn't say that. In the Soviet Union only a small percentage were in the Communist Party. But they controlled the guns. When they.were finally kicked out it was because a much larger mass of people rose up against them. The problem with pure democracy is once the population gets to a certain size, and spread over a large area, it's unwieldy. A representative republic is much more efficient. Same with @rickyb wanting labor having an equal say in how everything is done in a company. It's extremely inefficient and cumbersome. He thinks that's the ticket to getting high pay for much less time worked, with long periods off for recreation and relaxation. Unless a company has a license to print money that just won't happen. But can't tell him that. And anyone saying differently is evil and corrupt.

Back then there were a lot more people agreeing that NPR was pretty neutral than there were blue haired people listening to the Soviet national anthem for fun and posting about Democracy Now.
Npr opinion pieces are pretty liberal and can be cringey, but their news reporting, along with pbs is pretty neutral
