Alright I know you guys LOVE answering questions you've already answered and what not but I just spent a good 15 minutes buddying up with that search bar for dress code on drivers but couldn't find anything on footwear specifically.

I'm heading to Integrad on Monday and these are what I'm showing up with. Acceptable right? Just want to make sure before I get sent home for buying the wrong $100 shoes.

Timberlands?

I wore them, but I had years of seniority. Lots of fabric visible and the rough leather won't take a shine.

I just bought a pair of those for wet weather days and weekend hiking. You can polish them. New Balance 623 for dry weather.

Timberlands are good hiking boots but not really designed as work boots. Probably OK for bad weather days but I wouldn't wear them all the time.

Well I hear the Integrad I'm heading to isn't bad at all compared to "the nazis" in Chicago. I'm thinking of running by my hr sup tomorrow and making sure they're alright.

These are what I've been wearing to preload and a driver sup that I was talking to said they would be fine except for the gray sole. The Timberlands have like a light brown sole so I think they're fine Yeah?

Another shoe thread, here is my New Balance 623s after walking across a yard that hadn't been cut in months. I went to the podiatrist today btw. I have pain from what he thinks is inflammation. My bones looked good on X-rays.

A black permanent marker will take care of those tan/gray sides of the soles, should hold up for five days at least. I did that one time, they didn't say anything about it. We have "Sole Checks" every Friday morning during PCMs.
