Our part timers pay a one time $5.00 intro fee . And then when they go full time they pay another 20 bucks or whatever it is .
In my local, it's a $250 initiation fee when hired part time I believe and another $250 when you go from PT to full time. What do you mean? I didn't pay anything extra when I went full time.

That sucks I've never heard of that. My dues went up when I went full time but that's based on pay rate.In my local, it's a $250 initiation fee when hired part time I believe and another $250 when you go from PT to full time.

It is good I happily pay them. Of all the taxes and bull crap they take out of my check, I'm never unhappy about paying my union dues. It's the most important deductionGood, good

In my local it's 1$ for new part timers but then when u go full time , it's gonna cost you almost 4 grand , so it's best just to stay part time til you can come up with 4 grand cash .
