MIT did 2 predictions - one many decades ago and one more recently and they have the same date. IF you dont believe in global warming, well then thats at least one less thing to worry about, but that doesnt account for nuclear winter.
civilizations DO collapse. but civilization has never collapsed on a worldwide scale. but it will if we dont change. this economic system consumes like crazy.
There are almost 8 billion consuming to varying degrees. That will happen no matter what. It's technological advancement that keeps things from collapsing, not shutting everything down. And a lot of others have predicted collapse before now. Hasn't happened.
