Increased inflation lower pay makes sense

That has nothing to do with it.

Ground has proven that the job can be effectively done at 1/3-1/2 of our labor costs.

Our BA just sent us a letter begging for sales leads.

Lower starting rate.

Lower top rate.

I'm thinking shorter progression for new drivers. $20-25 an hour is still a lot of money to a part timer making $10-$11 an hour for crappy 4am work. Especially to those who have never been paid at a driver rate. Make it 2-3 years to $25 top rate and part timers who vote for it will be enough to push it through.

Ground refers to FedEx Ground, which has been beating us up and stealing our lunch money for the past 5 years.

You need to go to the union meetings.and get your coworkers involved.

Find your union bulletin board. Go to the next General Membership meeting. Ask questions at the meeting or call your the steward listed on the board.

Seeing everybody making almost $34 then becoming a driver and maxing out at 25 would be horribly disappointing. If it dropped under $30 I couldnt see doing it.
