I just laughed when I talked to the older guys I have one more strike left in meNope has nothing to do with that. We did not get benefits paid last time I was on strike.

Are you going to call them? It would be pretty cool if you did!No, he’s under the impression teamcare isn’t covering if we go on strike. He’s incorrect.
NoThat's what I thought @Foreshadowing was saying.
I have no reason to believe we won’t be covered except you can’t get anyone at teamcare to put it in writing or tell you on the phone. Maybe someone who isn’t scared or lazy will call and get the story.Nope has nothing to do with that. We did not get benefits paid last time I was on strike. Matter fact, I was not even in teamCare I had Aetna insurance then.
None of the people that you would call at teamCare are in charge of any of that.No

I called them. Teamcare transfered me to the Strike Care Team Leader and the SCTL confirmed that yes all dues paying members will maintain their benefits in the event of a strike. Are you going to call them? It would be pretty cool if you did!
Our Union Local came up with an idea to reduce 6 day punches by having a PT air driver list to run Saturday ground routes. File on that."Helping out an over dispatched driver",....who over dispatched them and who are you really helping?
Again, if you worked in my building as an air driver and delivered ground, I would get paid time and a half for those hours as well and it wouldn't happen anymore.
You're no hero.
Two options, walk the line or get another job, wtf do you want?Pretty eff'd up.
Edit....Not directed at you, but it sucks that a family's health care is jeopardized by this. The decision to cross or not cannot be made objectively because of the risk.
Since I’m not in the union and have never been in one, I don’t have to worry about it.Two options, walk the line or get another job, wtf do you want?
I get paid regardless of what you do.
LOL....For now....
How many boxes of crayons do you eatSince I’m not in the union and have never been in one, I don’t have to worry about it.
I get paid regardless of what you do.
Good luck,
You should know only US Marines eat crayons. How many boxes of crayons do you eat
Not sure how true this is, but I was told by our ORS that is not the case anymore. Supposedly, there only has to be a punch for the month to receive insurance benefits. So, if a Union member doesn't come to work for a week, they have no Health Care for that week? Please tell me that's not what you mean.
My comment is that if the guy can't go on strike, don't severely jeopardize him and his family. That's eff'd up.
Why would you believe anything an ORS says? Not sure how true this is, but I was told by our ORS that is not the case anymore. Supposedly, there only has to be a punch for the month to receive insurance benefits.
The "right to work" guys who refused to join the Union are screwed then. Good good.I called them. Teamcare transfered me to the Strike Care Team Leader and the SCTL confirmed that yes all dues paying members will maintain their benefits in the event of a strike.

You're welcome
That’s how it should beThe "right to work" guys who refused to join the Union are screwed then. Good good.
Especially since they were jumped in to become a teamster. That’s how it should be
No, they don’t have to join. Blood in blood out for the rest.Especially since they were jumped in to become a teamster
LOL...I guess "jumped in" is the olden times...No, they don’t have to join. Blood in blood out for the rest.
That's the only reason I want to see a strike...just so those freeloaders will lose their benefits. The "right to work" guys who refused to join the Union are screwed then. Good good.
