There wasn't last time there was a strike. UPS cleaned the system out. Most members will be laid off a few days before a potential strike and for a week after a settlement.

Not here...we were slammed for about 2 weeks after the strike trying to get caught up and then the volume went off the cliff.

I'm looking forward to bringing the troops a case of ice cold beer as they walk. P.S. There was no 'Waliking" on the 2 strikes I went through. We sat up shop across the street from our center in a semi- vacant lot with the owners permission. That lot is still there and I hope the guys have been checking with the owners about using it again. We set up a BIG Army tent, brought in generators and grills and had a great time for a couple of weeks. If you haven't planned ahead and saved a few bucks for this coming event -SHAME ON YOU.
