Libertarian Justin Raimondo of AntiWar.com who is himself gay as been saying along that the idea of gay marriage in itself is nonsense and in the end would only serve as an economic windfall for lawyers. I'm inclined to agree with him.
Economist Dr. Steven Horwitz in a piece today at "The Freeman" had this to say about gay marriage and moreso the ideals of the old classical liberal traditions.

CA. couldn't get the marriage thing, so they are going over the top again.......Teach history, period!! If a figure in history is gay, so be it.

Maybe this doesn't go here, but when I thought about it, I thought of this thread.
N.Y. was all celebratory about getting the same sex marriage thingy passed........BUT, it's summer and the swimming pools are closed in N.Y. I know they aren't connected, but I think the priority should be to open the pools for the kids. WTH?

He and his beau, David Burtka, are engaged. They have adopted fraternal twins, Harper and Gideon in October 2010.
