If you go more than 100 miles from home you must by law carry a log book. If you don't have one you can be fined. Some states differ on going thru weigh stations, if your state requires you take a truck with 6 plus wheels thru station and you don't then "you" are fined big. It is also against union contract to go from one hub to another and not be a feeder driver regardless if your not in big Bertha .
