Not our preload manager. He stands outside with a radio smoking cigarettes and telling the PT sups to send the preloaders home and finish loading the package cars.He works doing bargaining unit work...
Our PM rides around the building on a cart telling the PT sups the same thing. Not our preload manager. He stands outside with a radio smoking cigarettes and telling the PT sups to send the preloaders home and finish loading the package cars.

UPS provided drivers in my Center zilch during peak.In all seriousness, I never did understand this. Here, UPS provided drivers with Panera Bread bagels every single morning during peak... but nada to the PTers. You'd think a driver earning more than 3x his PT counterpart could better afford the bagels...
The person who scheduled this game for a Monday work night needs to be castrated in order to protect the gene pool from his idiot spawn. Our center manager warned (begged) all of us not to get too drunk watching Ohio State vs. Oregon in the national title game.
Go Bucks!
Says who?the drivers have finally started recovering from the constant kicking to the nuts the previous year provided
With your username did you intentionally type bagels twice in your post? Anyway, we were given various snacks throughout peak and I always brought stuff over to my loader. Donuts, water, granola bars, etc.In all seriousness, I never did understand this. Here, UPS provided drivers with Panera Bread bagels every single morning during peak... but nada to the PTers. True, what was I thinking? Now I'm just jinxing us all for the rest of the year.Says who?
When I'm wrapping up my shift at ~9:00, I've already worked 5+ hours. It might as well be lunch time. ANd, for those who are finishing a double or their full time shift, 9:00 is dinner time to them.We get hamburgers and hotdogs, who the hell wants to eat that crap at 9am?! There's usually a line lol. I tend to get looks sometimes when I stop at the beer store on the way home from UPS at 10am...lol.When you work nights it seems strange to other people you might go to a bar that opens in the morning after you get off work.

I think it's a county law...bars can't open here before 11am.When I first started preload the hours were more like midnight to 5 am. There actually were a couple of bars that opened at 5 or 6 am.
