My niece is getting scholarship money from about 15 different places. Not a lot from each place and it all adds up to pay for about half a year at a state university. She has already decided she wants to spend 7 more years in school to get a PhD in physical therapy.

She is one of those people for whom school is life and she has no concept of what life is like in the real world.

My son has a plan to get out in 2 1/2 years. He already has over a semester of credits.

He got better grades in school, that is for sure. In college, I never dedicated myself to the general courses, so my GPA wasn't the greatest. He has to get A's.
