They will send all the routes out as heavy as usual and wait until late afternoon to start sending messages about the weather and wait until most drivers are done before telling them to call it a day and bring everything else back.

My son is living in the Oxnard area fir the next several months. The weather looked perfect. High if 73.
That's what they did with hurricane Ivan. I took me three hours to get back to the building. The water was so deep it was coming into my cab

We was ready to beat the snot out of our POS center manager. I didn't get home until midnight because all of the roads were flooded out.

I remember calling in , told them local police shutting down roads. 3 feet of snow. People stick everywhere , pitch black out...........keep delivering. We will let you know........
Always too late. February 2010 was ridiculous ,with the amount of snow we had. They closed many centers down for a few days....but not us!

Had a snow storm (shocker) years ago ....during the early morning .....they didn't pull us off the road till 2pm......it was too late ......slept in the truck till 11am......the next day....stuck on the thruway
