What did people do, carpool their kids from the next town over?

People come from 30-40 minutes away. If it's on a weekend grandkids will come from hours away. The houses are very tight every single person in the neighborhood gives out candy. There's a school and church nearby that people park at and walk the neighborhood. They block off the entire neighborhood from 5-8. No vehicles in or out. It's a special night and the neighborhood embraces it more than anything.

Looks like this for almost 3 hours straight.

My parents spend $100-$150 a year. Not crazy money but it's usually all gone by the end of the night.

When new neighbors move in they warn them lol.
