I did one of those a while back. Cover driving. It's been going on for several months. I have seniority. They always have an excuse "don't have time to train you on a route, gotta get ready for peak" then "gotta get through peak". Put up the PT-FT bid. Rumor is I'm up to bat. Then it's "oh we'll start your packet. (1day) then, "we gotta do so and so's packet" but he is not driving Either. Packet or not, I am still "Qualified Cover Driver".
