It can get brutal in here sometimes. But we usually just have fun.

Correction... Tree limbs hanging over the house causing leaves to pile up in the gutters and eventually it caused the wood to rot away. I think a critter made it bigger though. Handyman said he didn't see anything in the attic at the time and supposedly closed off any access he could find.

Any trees near the house mean easy access for roof rats, raccoons, flying squirrels. Rats-mice, also climb up if they have access from cracks in or near the foundation.
