I always find it annoying that the schools whine about funding when we pay for all the kids supplies and in many cases the teacher's supplies as well.

I always find it annoying that the schools whine about funding when we pay for all the kids supplies and in many cases the teacher's supplies as well.

I often refer to all that, plus book rental, class fees, as tuition.

Even in private school (Catholic) in the 50's......book bills were only $35 for the year, but parents bought Kleenex and such for the classroom.
