I think this is an interesting subject. To continue to alienate the republic base of Teamsters, (which doesn’t make any sense, but I digress); O’Brien could limit his own political voting base.
Republicans typically don’t promote labor, but that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t. Maybe if the Teamsters stopped picking on them, they would pass some pro union legislation?

It’s definitely not 95 to 98% that vote Republican lol, it has a similar split to the rest of the nation probably close to 50-50 maybe 40-60 Democrat depending on the location of a local.

I believe I saw in an article that Palmer said the split was like 57% Biden to 43% Trump for the straw polls the locals did.

Don't know how true that was because Palmer is attacking O'Brien because I believe he's running next election.
