One is too many. It is illegal to work off the clock and you could be subject to progressive discipline if caught. How many full-time, temp, or cover drivers sort their own trucks off the clock before their shifts? Is doing so allowed? Or, do you trust your loader.
Does your butt still hurt?Anyone who was caught working in their package car before start time was subject to a noogie. Repeat offenders could expect up to and possibly a wedgie.
Just messing with you.I never had to worry about the consequences of working off the clock.
Good Lord...ain't that the truth....lolOnly a maroon would work for free.
There's lots of morons at ups.
As long as you are injured at work you will be covered under workman's comp. The off-clock workers obviously don't care or are just clueless of the consequences if they get injured before their start time.
Twist an ankle or get a finger or toe crushed then it's all on them.....no on-job comp and likely discipline.
If you get injured while working off the clock then you are screwed.
Not to mention if you damage anything off the clock your ass is toast.I would agree with you. Hell--UPS fights all comp claims. If you get hurt off the clock they are for sure going to fight it.
If you get injured while working off the clock then you are screwed.
