Ok California. Now what?

I’ll leave this here, going back to 1979, Texas has had eight (8) years of democratic governors. In 2024, they had the largest wildfire in US history. Maybe Governor Abbott should’ve kept some of those illegals to clear the underbrush instead of sending them all to Democratic cities? Certainly could’ve used the money to improve the power grid of this “great” state.

🤷‍♂️
By the way most of the illegals sent to Democratic cities came courtesy of the Biden administration.

So why do the idiots build in areas that are high risk for wildfires? Especially since neither state or local democrat controlled government does anything to mitigate a potential wildfire. Cali has a fire season, you would think they’d have this by now. Probably would if a Republican was in charge for the last 20 years.
Why do idiots build in areas that are high risk for hurricanes or tornadoes? Because people want to live where they want to live. This is America, right?

Is this really hard to understand? The fire in the mountains was much more intense because of the underbrush. The high winds pushed the intense fire into the city. And then there wasn't enough water to fight it. Burned overnight with 0% containment.
LA has fires every year. They've never had a fire like this because of the timing of the wind and fire. Water doesn't do anything for hurricane force winds. And again they had water. When every single block is on fire, it's going to strain water resources. It really isn't that hard to understand if you weren't so bent on politicizing it.

Did you see his testimony? He finally got the notice to come in and take the test 7 years later. He was in line and asked the young black woman next to him when did she apply and she said three days ago. Doesn't matter if the state had a Republican governor. What mattered was the emphasis, even back then, was on promoting other groups ahead of white men in the name of equity. Might not of been "woke" back then, but they were laying the groundwork for it.

LAFD was 8% black in 1980. Adam Carolla did not miss out on a job because of his skin color. Maybe the FD wasn't interested in a teenager with a D average in HS? Or maybe he just made the whole story up?

It’s weird, I don’t remember you blaming republicans for hurricanes in Republican states, or for the winter freeze that killed hundreds when the power went out in Texas. Imagine if it was a Democrat governor who left to go to Cancun during it, we’d never hear the end of it from you

Maui 2.0. Prime Beef real estate decimated. Insurance companies will claim bankruptcy. BlackRock supermans in offering to give owners hard cash of 1-5% of the home value and property. Just watch.

So it’s ok to have a billion dollars in damages if it doesn’t spread into urban or suburban areas?

Got it!
Compare that with the BILLIONS in L.A. in a much smaller area. There's simply no way to prevent a widespread wildfire on the prairie but you'd think in areas right next to the second largest city in the country where they have high risk for fire that they'd take preventive measures.

Get it? Got it? Good!
