More fake news perpetuated by Trump loyalists. The bottom line is Democrats spend more on infrastructure than Republicans. Republicans are the ones who cut spending for infrastructure. Go to any red state and you'll see the failure to fix and upgrade infrastructure.
True, Democrats throw a lot of money at things while Republicans manage things better.

Whatever happened to the high speed rail project in California? Oh, wait, a lot spent, no train.

Did you know L.A.'s mayor cut $20 million out of the FD's budget?
It was $17.5 million out of $837 million.

After criticizing department funding, LA fire chief met Friday with mayor, source says

"Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass had a meeting Friday afternoon with Fire Chief Kristin Crowley, a source familiar with the meeting said.

It comes after Crowley said earlier today that city officials failed her department by slashing its budget by $17 million — a decision that she said is now negatively affecting the agency’s ability to battle the raging wildfires in the county.

Over 100 fire apparatus are out of service, the fire chief said. The budget cuts eliminated civilian positions such as mechanics which has and “will continue to severely impact our ability to repair apparatus,” Crowley told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

“We can no longer sustain where we are. We do not have enough firefighters,” Crowley said."

You realize that it wasn't just city firefighters fighting the fire, right? You had city, state, federal, other states and cities, prison crews and even a Mexican strike team. Everything was thrown at these fires. Y'all are just a bunch of salty ass mother:censored2:as that thrive on negativity and any chance to politicize and demonize.

You should take it up with CNN if you feel like they're unfairly politicizing and demonizing the Democrats who control nearly everything in California.

Was in Cali for wedding months ago. Sucker is dry dry. So strange having 🔥 in January?

It may sound strange to those in most of this nation who have actual seasons, but this is not unusual.

Very many parts of California (especially coastal where I am) the best weather is September to January. The rest of the year it's either too hot/humid, too windy, or too cloudy or overcast. Rain season is typically February to June. Wind season (with the exception of brief periods of Santa Ana winds) are February to July. May to August is typically overcast all day long.

It is typical on the 4th of July that I am wearing a light jacket all day long, and the fireworks going off in the sky can't be seen because it's too overcast. It is typical on Christmas day that I am wearing shorts and a T-shirt. It is typical on Cinco de Mayo (May 5th for you pinche gringos) to be too gawdamm windy to work outside. It is typical in September/October that I want to sit on a block of ice.

These are very strange (and amusing) times we are living in. And not a minute too soon.

For example: I never would've believed that a time would come when I would see some of the typical liberal, plasticky, talking heads on the TV; and I don't feel the urge to choke the living :censored2: out of most of them.

Man you are defensive. How long did the fires rage uncontained? And after 8 years of you and others attacking Trump and his supporters you best believe when we see how poorly run Democratic controlled cities are we're going to point it out.
