guess what? global warming is real and it means a lower standard of living for everyone since we didnt do anything about it

if you were religious, you likely didnt fight for social justice the way billy graham did against civil rights or nuclear war (who i think is just average anyways), and so you failed.

private profits, socialized losses. the corporations profited destroying the environment, we all pay for global warming. thats the deadealso youre saying that
What about the current fires make you think that it is a product of global warming when facts say otherwise.

Isn't it funny how no other region in the country has these kinds of problems to the degree and with the frequency that California does? I really think it's cool how Cali tries to pretend like they really care about the environment when they blow through billions of dollars dealing with the aftereffects of problems (many of which could have been mitigated) that none of the rest of us have.

A county in North Carolina sent one of their Fire Trucks to LA on a trailer. It was the oldest truck they had, still operational and functional . I was told they weren't going to send their best because if it gets out there and gets tore up or burned up, ok. They tested it for emissions and sent it back.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

yea i think if cali cared about hte environment they would have much better public transportation like europe.

i think the thing is when you are part of a country the culture of corruption infects the whole country no matter how left wing you claim to be. for example vermont is still low by european standards and bernie sanders has some kind of power over the state.

other regions in the countries have problems make no mistake about it. miami is going under water for example.

the earth has warmed 1.6 degrees celcius. its dry and fire season is typically in the summer. if its arson they shouldve put it out like all the other years.

you can look up jim hansen for more.

No we don't. In fact the very thing you said can be proved wrong by the current science. Here's your current information source

Here is a more reliable source.
View attachment 507700notice a difference? When you use the correct information. The colder winters start to make sense. Good luck with your common sense.
look at when industrial revolution started and look at when temperatures started to go up. perfect overlap.

i agree the earth goes in cycles but we were at the peak of a previous cycle last i recall.

Wrong

"According to NASA and most climate scientists, reliable global temperature records have been kept since around 1880, as this is when observations from thermometers covered a sufficient portion of the planet to accurately measure global temperatures."
think they use ice.

Frig em. If you're at a press conference and you're deaf, odds are you can read lips.
Total distraction to the 200 million veiwers watching.
As the child of a deaf person, the signs seem overly done because that’s how American Sign Language is. Signs are not just about the signs themselves but also about the movements and facial expressions. It’s pretty difficult to read lips from across the room. Which is more important, making sure deaf people know what’s going on or eliminating a distraction to viewers? Deaf people were omitted from many, many things for a long, long time. They should at least have a right to be able to know what’s going on when public officials are speaking.

Works great. I use it all the time at home. I remember how excited my mother was when closed captioning was invented. That meant she could finally understand everything going on in the movies she’d watched for years. Not going to work for a crowd at a press conference unless they have a very large TV screen behind the speakers.

The sign language person is just there in case there might be any deaf folks in the crowd at a press conference?

Do you not remember the Amazon rain forest burning? Or in Australia?

The Amazon rain forest burning was about people burning off jungle to clear land for crops. Because the soil is poor it's not long before the crops fail and they clear more land. They're clearing huge amounts of land every year. Funny that there's not much mention of it now. Maybe the Brazilians are stopping people from doing it.
