OMS's WHO CHOOSE OR NOT CHOOSE UNION- ON TOPIC PLEASE

Can some of you give input on what they have seen at their centers where the OMS and maybe others who have become part of the bargaining unit? Also others that chose no to it. Please keep on topic and jokes aside for now. This can be shared with with ones who maybe want to join. Did they benefit or? Any input would help.

All of ours has chose to do it and all of them are getting the $2.75 raise if they do it before August

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get rid of this job completely so those people who join now will at least be able to use their seniority to do something else if they eliminate these jobs otherwise their ass out.

Not familiar with that position I don’t know if that’s the same as these specialists, we had about a dozen of them here almost all of them in the feeder department. The company was definitely trying to hide these jobs from us giving us very little information.

It's funny. HR called my local afraid that they might get in trouble if they didn't make us aware of everyone so the local could talk to them.

They wouldn’t give us any information. We had to investigate everything for ourselves and talk to these people.

I’ve never seen them do it, although they think they can lol. I’ve had one Tell me they’re a supervisor too, and I need to do what I’m told.

They are in kind of a gray area here. Not union but not management either (although some of them want to act like they are)

Here’s the strange thing that needs explaining about these “specialists” unionizing. We have two here and from I was told both opted in? Are they attending our union meetings? There’s no way that can be allowed. Both work in dispatch and both are snakes. So how are they going to allow them to attend our union meetings? I’m assuming they won’t but we haven’t been given that info yet.
