Yup, no other hockey player can ever wear the number 99 !
That number has been retired for good !

He does deserve a picture :

That is a great honor for the second greatest hockey player of all-time

If it would be Bobby Orr, that reminds me of my childhood or PHil Espisito. Those 2 were the hockey stars of my childhood time.
And in elementary school here in Edmonton, we got to watch the entire Games of the Russia - Canada series back in the cold war ara, of 1972 !

They stopped the classes, and we got to sit in the Auditorium and watch hocky at it's highest National level ever to be played.

On this day 27 Jan 1965, Shelby GT 350 debuts.
Carroll Shelby (Lemans winner) convinced Ford to let him put his modifications and name
on a special run of Ford Mustang's. 22,000 were sold quickly.
Even more "hairy" were the less than 30 "G.T. 350R" race-spec cars that were built specifically to race under SCCA rules.

Shelby note.. Today in 1965 is when Ford launched production of the GT350.
The Shelby GT 350 was an iteration of the first Ford Mustang, which was officially unveiled by Henery Ford II at the
World's Fair in Flushing Meadows, New York, on April 17, 1964.

A launch pad fire during Apollo program tests at Cape Canaveral and kills astronauts
Virgil "Gus" Grissom, Edward H. White II, and Roger B. Chafee.

On this Day, Jan 28, 1986 the Space Shuttle Challenger blows up, minutes after the launching, causing the death of 7 astronaunts.

We just watched a documentary on the Challenger explosion. That could have been avoided but the one person that tried to stop the launch sequence hours prior was overruled.
