36 EV car battery fires in AZ last year. Fireman don’t know how to put them out. One was on a tow truck when it flared up again. Percentage wise of cars on the road, that’s a high rate.
The only way to fully put out an EV fire is to cover it with something to starve it of oxygen.
Try quick drying cement or a very deep cavern to drop it in.

A coal-fired power plant in Kansas that was slated for closure will remain open after all to provide needed power for, wait for it: a new electric vehicle (EV) battery factory producing "clean" energy storage products.

In accordance with the Biden regime's ongoing efforts to force all Americans into an EV, Panasonic has built a $4 billion EV battery factory in the small Kansas City exurb of De Soto.

Local media reports state that the factory will require anywhere from 200 to 250 megawatts of electricity to function. This is roughly the amount of power needed to keep the lights on in a small city.

Wrong and wrong

Capitalism is only chugging along in the sense the titanic was with an iceberg in its path
You are hoping. In the end capitalism will keep chugging along. Why? Because too many are highly invested in its success. They won't let it fail. Much like our political process. Leftists get in by promising things they can't deliver. When people realize their mistake they vote in conservatives to clean up the mess.

capitalism has been failing for a longgg time and theres no sign of letting up

capitalists have yet to invent a technology to make it sustainable. any day now right ;) ?

conservatives are terribly corrupt in america. leftists typically dont get into power in america, and in the case of AOC or bernie they are coopted by the democrat party.
