Now that's the dumbest thing you've ever said. How were they not communist?
the russians smashed worker run jobs with no bosses immediately after the revolution

the russians called it "communism" because people sympathized morally with the idea, and the americans called it that to bolster capitalism which of course keeps employees following orders.

Prove that there were worker run jobs with no bosses. Communism is collectivism. Workers were organized into collectives. Given no incentives to produce beyond threats. They were doomed to fail.

What you don't get is the men who've convinced you socialism is the way to go are just megalomaniacs who think they know better than others what's best for everyone. With them in charge if they could ever pull it off. Meanwhile they'll settle for followers who make them wealthy paying for their books and university speeches.

Spend time like I just did driving all over delivering goods. Drive through huge cities. Go to factories. At some point a lightbulb may go off in your head as to the huge amount of investment that it took to accomplish all of it. Your 2 guys living the pure socialist ideal with their little business won't get that done.

Does it offend you that bosses tell you what to do? That's because you want to work when you feel like it, go home when you feel like it. That's a character flaw, not what they're doing to you. That you think society should be completely reordered to suit you says you're just as megalomaniacal as Chris Hedges or Ralph Nader.

italy already has 30,000 socialist / anarchist worker run no bosses businesses.

spain's mondragon was at one point 7th largest business in the country and its partly worker run.

yea bosses telling us what to do is undemocratic. its totalitarian. power corrupts. its a bad idea. its like slavery or feudalism. being an adult is participating in power; making decisions, not following orders like a child.

yea ill rewatch a video of chomsky talking about it and then i will respond more. russia after it busted up the worker run business right at the beginning of the revolution was described as "state capitalist" i believe.

the russian "revolution" was a counter revolution actually which destroyed the factory councils and soviets and all popular movements within a few months, the government was anti socialist and extremely authoritarian

there was no socialism after 1918 in russia. lenin called it "state capitalist". there was EU countries which were more socialist
