you’re absolutley right. China is one of the worst offenders for pollution and climate change

America also does stupid backwards stuff to “pretend” to be environmentlly friendly, like shipping our trash out to other countries to dump in the ocean and call it recycling”
recycling is a satanic lie created by oil industry

china is up there but nowhere near as bad as us. theyre still more poor than us.

China pollutes more than we do. They don't have the environmental safeguards we do.

China is falling apart.

You held China up as being superior to us. Their problems are worse.

Their birth rate is far lower than ours. The result is they have millions of young men who can't find a wife. And their economy won't have the consumer buying power needed as their older population ages out.
show me carbon emissions per capita.

birth rate is typically lower but not around 2017.

i dont think theyre superior to america, theyre currently better at some things, and in the future they may very well be superior to america based on where each country is trending.

a country with a quadrillion which almost pollutes nothing might have more pollution than a country with one million people which pollute a lot

thats why comparing countries based on absolute pollution is silly and satanic

you misunderstand. a country with population 99999999999999999999999 and almost no emissions might pollute more than a country with population 10,000 which pollutes a lot.

thats why we dont compare countries based on absolute pollution because of course a large population will inflate how much pollution there is.

i think china is top 20 world wide for pollution per person, and north america is top 10 for satanism

You're not getting it. They had 40 years of a one child per couple policy. Culturally it's very important for families to have a son. They were using ultrasound to determine sex of baby and if girl they were aborting them, hoping for a son next time. This resulted in a huge gap between the number of boys vs girls born for 40 years. Literally now millions of men who will never marry because there aren't enough women. And made them top heavy with elderly people. China's population by 2050 will be reduced by almost half. You would think that's a good thing but what it means is there won't be enough spending to maintain their economy and it will greatly increase poverty. And destabilize a country with nukes.

There are consequences for dumb decisions made by a centralized government.

You want to focus on pollution per capita but you can't get around the fact that China has more than double the carbon emissions while the U.S. has seen great progress in lowering our pollution. Can't get around the fact of China's cities are most of the cities on the 50 most polluted cities list. And you're only focused on carbon emissions. What about water? Garbage disposal? Litter? I've been to third world cities where they don't have the car emissions standards we do. You can literally taste it in the air. It's nasty.

i do get it and i possibly agree. centralized corporations likewise make dumb decisions and i think america is destabilizing as well. since 2008 its been quite obvious

right they have double the carbon emissions and yet 4 to 5x the population. they should have 4 to 5x the pollution too. ive been to kenya, the cars were smokey there.

i focus on pollution per capita for the same reason i focus on inmates per capita because to measure it any other way would be ridiculous

Nissan will be the next to fail.
They estimate that there is only 14 months of time left.
They will be looking for handouts from the Japanese and/or US Governments to save themselves.
If they are forced to close, how will that effect your predictions ?

We have as much emissions as we do because we have more cars than any other country. China's pollution comes primarily from smokestacks. If the Chinese buy more and more cars their emissions will eventually be quadruple ours. Then what are you going to rag on us about?

then maybe you can say china is the top pollution nation per capita

im not sure what you said about cars matches with pollution per capita

You're hung up on per capita. The U.S. has by far the most vehicles and that contributes to our having the second highest total emissions. Doesn't change the fact that China's emissions are more than double that plus their overall pollution in terms of air, water, garbage is much worse. Not only in totals but in how they handle it. For people who live in those countries the environmental impact has a much.harsher effect on their lives. I've been to Canada a handful of times and was always impressed with how clean a country it appears. One of the problems our poor.areas have, especially in big cities, is blight. It's about more than just statistics. A clean environment affects well being. You feel the difference very quickly in other countries. I can show you areas of Mexico that you would greatly enjoy but go out.of those areas and the quality of the environment quickly deteriorates.

i dont care about total emissions, population skews the number. you absolutely have to measure it per capita.

i think canada pollutes more per capita than america, probably because of the tar sands.
