i dont care about total emissions, population skews the number. you absolutely have to measure it per capita.

i think canada pollutes more per capita than america, probably because of the tar sands.
Canada also has a larger area than the U.S. with about 1/9th the population. How are the tar sands polluting so much? No matter how you spin it China has more than twice the emissions plus their environmental quality is hard on their population.

i should hope they have more than twice the total emissions they have 4 to 5x the population!

tar sand is satanic garbage.

i dont spin it, china pollutes less per capita than us despite their 1.4 billion or whatever pop. their life expectancy is longer than usa now btw.

According to Worldometer the U.S. ranks 48th and China is 58th in life expectancy. And still pollutes more than twice the U.S.

i respect worldometer's rating, however ive heard and seen different as well.

cbs news says US is 76 years.
I can say it until I'm blue in the face...we have a deadly drug epidemic, we have an obesity/diabetes epidemic, we have gang bangers constantly killing young men in our major cities. Life expectancy is the average of all deaths. It doesn't mean that people are going to live until 76 or 78 then die unlike people who live to 82 in some other countries. Doesn't mean that at all. Millions of Americans live well past 76 or 78.

Strength through joy

On Monday, Tesla notified workers at the Austin factory where it assembles the Cybertruck to take the next three days off, according to a memo viewed by Business Insider.

"On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week (Dec. 3-5), you do not need to report to work," the memo said.

Workers were told they'd still receive eight hours of pay for each day they'd been scheduled to work.

The email said workers would return to the Cybertruck production line on Friday, December 6. Tesla also said some workers wouldn't follow the adjusted schedule, and those workers would be notified separately.
