im still amazed how bad the last gen tacoma is. they sold so many of htem too.
I could care less how good they are. If I ever come back to the States and buy a vehicle it will be a hybrid of some sort. Likely Toyota will have a small hybrid pickup to compete with the Ford Maverick soon.

the last gen tacoma is below average somehow lol. my subcompact is average. ridgeline above average.

its a no brainer for me.

But Toyota hybrids are extremely reliable. If they make a small hybrid pickup I'll likely buy it. By the way Honda just announced they are developing a hybrid system for their larger SUV's and the Ridgeline. I would definitely consider buying a hybrid Ridgeline.

scions were reliable but they werent good.

canada has more than double the deaths from road traffic accidents per capita than some eu countries, america is 6x more.

my gf and i were talking about which countries dont have a culture of people staring at accidents

Im still waiting for car prices to drop. Its been 4 years now. Used to be able to get a compact for less than 20000 used 4 years old with low miles. Market failure

What's funny is environmentalists in the U.S. scream nonstop about pollution but I've been in cities in the Third World where the air is so thick you can almost chew it. There's not one U.S. city on the world's 50 most polluted cities list. Not sure where our worst city falls but it's likely hundreds of places down on the list.
